Hello 2nd grade families!
I’m sending the link for the Field trip on Monday, March 24th. Please have 2nd Grade Mission Trails Trip filled out by Friday (March 21st), or your child is unable to attend.
Currently I have 9 drivers/chaperones signed up for the field trip. (Juliana, Ian, Maurin, Tu, Jim, Veronica G., Veronica K., Katie, Rachel). If you are not one of these nine and you want to attend, please let me know because it is free for everyone. We will be leaving at 8:30am, so please don’t be late, our scheduled time to begin is 9:00. Also, I will send home a flier (in their Friday folders) that says what the kiddos will need to bring, so please make sure and look in their backpacks for this flier.
In the kiddos’ Friday folders, I have included their report cards. Please make sure and return the envelopes to be used for the 3rd Trimester reports.
Next week we will have Spirit Wear and Pizza lunch on Tuesday and $Denim on Thursday. Also on Monday I will sending home with the children in their homework folders, a coin box to collect change for Lent to donate to the Missionary Childhood Association. We will collect them at the end of Lent.
On Thursday of next week, will be attending the 1st grade Pop-up Museum. If the students want to bring a quarter (or more) for donation, that would be much appreciated, I’m sure.
Lastly, we are currently out of extra snacks and water. If anyone would be so kind to make a donation to the class of snacks and/or water bottles, that would be greatly appreciated. Occasionally we have some kiddos forget snack or lunch and need a little something to supplement. Thank you so much.
I hope everyone has a magical St. Patty’s Day! I’m sure after school on Monday, all the kiddos will have some stories to share!
