Homework

Homework

Dear Parents,

I am aware that nightly homework may be a new concept for all of you.  It is important that you establish a routine and find a nice quiet, brightly lit area to allow your child to do their homework.  As your child moves up in the grades, s/he will be expected to complete nightly homework, so please try to encourage this habit with your children.  If you find that your child is struggling with the amount, use your own judgment, and modify as needed.  If it is too easy, then please do more spelling activities and encourage more writing on the Reading Comprehension Questions.  Do not encourage children to move ahead on Math.  The Math pages assigned will go along with what they are learning in class.  As stated in the homework, required pages are the odd numbered pages, the even pages are reviews of things they already learned, so those are optional to complete. Please let me know with a little note on the homework what modifications were made, and I will make a note in my gradebook.  Thank you for your help and please let me know if you have any questions.

Blessings,

Mrs. Campagna
