Hello 2nd Grade Families!
I hope you’ve all had a joyous, relaxing summer with your families and are excited for the school year to begin!
Our first day of school will be WEDNESDAY, 8/21. Gates will open at 7:50 am, and the late bell will ring at 8:00 am. Please try to get your kiddos to school on time so we can utilize every minute of our learning time in the classroom! Thank you in advance.
I also know that getting school supplies to the classroom on the first day can be pretty overwhelming, so drop-off will be on a table just outside our classroom (unless I happen to be inside the classroom) on Tuesday, 8/20 (8:00-12:00). Please feel free to drop by with your student’s school supplies at that time. If this day/time doesn’t work for you, please feel free to email me and let me know if there’s a better time, as I can be as flexible as can with times, if need be.
Enjoy your last few days of summer, and I can’t wait to welcome your students to 2nd grade next week on Wednesday, 8/23 at 7:50 am! Please remember that all days the first week of school will be half days and dismissal will be at 12:30. We will begin full days the following week.

Monday, August 21st (5:00 in the gym) – New Parent Welcome Meeting
Wednesday, August 23 (8:00 in front of the office)- School begins! Parent coffee and pastries
Wednesday, August 30 (6:00 beginning in the parish hall) – TK-5th Back-to-School Night
Thursday, August 31 (6:00 Beginning in the parish hall) – 6th-8th Back-to-School Night
Wednesday, September 6 (5:30 in the parish hall) – SDPD Internet Safety Presentation for Parents
