Happy New Year (Almost!)
Hello 2nd grade families!
I can’t believe it’s almost 2024, and we are moving into our 2nd half of the school year! I’ve missed all the children and can’t wait to see them Wednesday, January 3rd! I wanted to THANK ALL OF YOU for the most generous gifts you gave to me for Christmas. I am so blessed to have such a generous and kind group of parents and students. I am so excited to see everyone!
I wanted to quickly get out the volunteer signups for this month of January, so everyone can get their times on their calendars. Remember, if you don’t get a time you like, just let me know when you’d like to come in and I can always find something for you to do! You are always welcome!
We will be having a field trip this month on Monday, the 22nd. We will be walking to the La Jolla Tide Pools. I have included volunteeropportunities to attend on the signup as well, and if the slots fill up, just know everyone is welcome, just let me know you would like to attend so I can get a head count before we leave.
Another thing we need are supplies to sustain us into this next half of the school year. We are getting low in erasers, colored pencils, scissors, and crayons. If you can send some with your child, that would be very helpful.
